Three charged in Johnson City drug death

Three people were indicted for second-degree murder in the death of a Johnson City resident.

A TBI report said Samatha Robinson, 34, Lavonti Jeter, 38, and Macala Wheeler, 24, are accused of supplying fatal doses of fentanyl and cocaine to Alexander Payne, 31. He was found dead in his Kaywood Court home in December.

The three are also facing conspiracy and drug possession charges.
