Tennessee Governor Bill Lee Still Planning On Special Session Despite Opposition From Both Sides

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is gearing up for a special session of the Tennessee Legislature and the Governor has been busy hosting lawmakers at the Governor’s residence to discuss ideas. Lee is facing opposition, even from his own party. The Tennessee Firearms Association calls the Governor’s special session of gun control an Alice in Wonderland session. Lee is facing frequent pressure from both sides to either calls the session or cancel it. Lee says the session is coming and its just ten weeks away.
