Richlands Police intern killed in Washington County crash

An intern with the Richlands Police Department was confirmed to be the victim of a fatal weekend car crash in Washington County, Virginia.

Jordyn Rasnake, 20, was driving northbound on Route 19 near Brumley Gap Road when State Police said she lost control and ran into an embankment, ejecting her from the vehicle. Rasnake was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck remains under investigation.
