Report: $27,000 in cattle stolen in Glade Spring

It’s a theft straight out of the days of the Wild West.
A report from the Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office says nine heads of cattle, including 1 bull, 3 calves and 5 cows, were rustled off of a Glade Spring farm sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
CH Cattle Company is located in the Exit 32 area of Interstate 81 and the value of the stolen cattle is $27,000. Company owner Craig Hammond has put up a $15,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. All of the animals were marked with yellow ear tags with the letters CH on them.
