Offensive weapon for Tennessee Softball leaving Knoxville

It’s a sign of the times in college athletics and a big blow to the Tennessee Softball program.

Sophomore infielder Taylor Pannell entered the transfer portal two weeks after the Lady Vols were eliminated from the Women’s College World Series. Leaving with Pannell is offensive production–she led the team in home runs with 16 this season and is in the top 20 in nearly SEC category in offensive.

Pannell also designated a no contact order with her transfer plans; that means no school or coach can contact her and she will have control over where she goes next.
