National Weather Service Storm Spotter training coming to JC

The National Weather Service Office in Morristown, TN has released their schedule for this Spring’s Storm Spotter training. The training will be held in Johnson City on April 25, 6pm-8pm, at ETSU’s Rogers-Stout Hall (Room 118) on the main campus. Storm Spotter training classes cover severe weather hazards and identification of important storm features, and safety concerns. Participants will also learn how to appropriately provide storm spotter reports from their area to the National Weather Service. Storm Spotter Training is free and open to the public. All participants must register ahead of time.
