Daniel Boone’s Savannah Jessee behind the plate in Liberty’s historic NCAA win
Daniel Boone High School graduate Savannah Jessee was part of the history-making lineup for the Liberty Flames over the weekend.
The redshirt sophomore catcher hit a two-run homer to tie the score at 3 all with No. 1 overall seed Texas A&M in Sunday’s elimination NCAA regional game that the Flames won 6-5, sending them to the Super Regionals for the first time in school history while sending the Aggies home.
Next up for Jessee and the Flames–a trip out west for a best of 3 series with No. 16 Oregon that begins Friday.
