UPDATE: Investigators track Bristol shooting suspect to home in Kingsport

A suspect that sheriff’s deputies said fired several rounds from his vehicle in Bristol, Tennessee was apprehended Tuesday in Kingsport.

A report from Sheriff Jeff Cassidy’s office said Robert Lee Farmer, 43, was found by officers at a property on East Center Street and taken into custody.

Farmer had reportedly shot at someone near his home on Cedar Lane on Saturday. He is charged with attempted second degree murder, reckless endangerment and a weapon violation.
