Dollywood Company businesses raise $700,000 to support flood relief in Humphreys County

Dolly Parton and her several Smoky Mountain businesses say they raised $700,000 to support the United Way of Humphreys County. The United Way is working to help residents after catastrophic flooding claimed 20 lives in Humphreys County. Parton says she selected the United Way of Humphreys County to receive this donation because it is the home of her friend, country music legend Loretta Lynn. Parton says she was inspired to help Lynn’s hometown because her friend did so much for Gatlinburg after the 2016 wildfires.
