Woman briefly escapes, damages windows of deputy’s vehicle

A woman is facing several charges after she tried to escape from a Sheriff’s Deputy at a Johnson City hospital then tried to smash the windows of the officer’s patrol cruiser.
A police report said the deputy arrived at the facility’s ER to serve a warrant to Kimberly June Anderson, 43, when she ran down a hallway then was apprehended.
While in the official vehicle, the report said Anderson managed to break one of the seatbelts and began kicking the windows. Anderson is charged with vandalism, escape and resisting arrest.
