WCSO TN makes aggravated domestic assault arrest

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 54 year old Jackie Lynn Griffin and charged him with Aggravated Domestic Assault on June 28. The sheriff’s office report says the victim said that Griffin pointed a gun at her head, forced his hand into her mouth and grabbed her jaw, punched her multiple times and tackled her when she tried to escape. She eventually got free and drove herself to an area hospital for medical attention. Deputies located Griffin at a residence on Cloyd Road and took him into custody. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center and will appear in court on July 10.
