VFP expands Duffield plant with $35 million expansion to create 200 new jobs

VFP, a Scott County company that constructs custom enclosed structures that can be used for facilities like data centers, is expanding its Duffield plant for the third time in five years to meet business demand.
Governor Youngkin was in Southwest Virginia to join VFP in their announcement of 200 new jobs and investing $35 million to build a plant addition.
“When a company that’s here says, ‘We have done so well here that we are going to double down and do more here. And that is what VFP is saying today. ‘Virginia we trust you.’ ‘…When together, Virginia, we can grow even bigger,” the governor said at the Duffield briefing.
VFP moved to Duffield’s industrial zone back in the late 1990s.
