The Salvation Army of JC looking for bell ringers
The Salvation Army of Johnson City is seeking bell ringers for its annual Red Kettle campaign. The organization will take applications for bell ringers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. until noon at its offices at 204 West Walnut Street in Johnson City. The campaign will run from Nov. 14 through Dec. 24. Hiring for bell ringers will continue through mid-December. Interested applicants should bring documents proving their ability to work and a background check will be conducted on all applicants. Red Kettles will be set up outside local retailers with the funds raised staying in Northeast Tennessee to support the Salvation Army’s Center of Hope shelter and provide food and utility assistance to people in the region.
