Ribbon cutting scheduled for Johnson County’s Sink Mountain boat ramp

A second public boat ramp will soon be open to the public in Johnson County. According to Johnson County Mayor Larry Potter, the new $4.2 million Sink Mountain boat ramp will include 16 trailer and truck parking spaces, 8 additional vehicle parking spaces, a courtesy dock, restroom facilities, ample lighting, and repaving and upgrades to the existing access road. The public is encouraged to attend the boat ramp’s ribbon cutting on Tuesday at 10 a.m. The Sink Mountain ramp is a collaborative project between the Tennessee Forest Service, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and the Tennessee Valley Authority.
