New Coomes Center playground near completion, volunteers needed
The Coomes Center in Abingdon is currently working on a $1 million playground, partially funded by the Wellspring Foundation, helping fund the safety surfacing. Project leaders and workers are still welcoming volunteers to help make the playground a reality. It’s expected to be complete by Sunday, the 14th.
