New age-progression photo of Summer Wells published by TBI

For the first time in two years, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has published a new age progression image of AMBER Alert subject Summer Wells.

It shows a matured girl who celebrated her 9th birthday this year. The image was created by an artist with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Summer was 5 years old when she was reported missing from her Hawkins County homestead on June 15, 2021. Months of extensive searching from local and state officers and volunteers along with experts in finding missing people produced no leads to her location and how she was lost.
