Look-a-like candy packets filled with THC gummies seized in Bristol Virginia arrest

Bristol Virginia Police Chief Bryron Ashbrook says a potential risk was taken off the streets due to the recent work of his officers and the Holston River Regional Drug Task Force.

The threat was packets of THC gummies that look very similar to a name-brand candy that Ashbrook said could easily be mistaken by a child, followed by tragic results.

Andrew Roark, 65, reportedly had those packages with him along with cocaine, schedule II drugs, gun ammunition and drug paraphernalia when he was arrested on property in the 1400 block of Norway Street. Roark is charged with drug and gun possession.
