Large home in Morristown subdivision leveled by blaze

A three-story luxury home in Morristown is a complete loss, according to Hamblen County fire department officials, after a large blaze consumed the home located in the Harbor Pointe subdivision near Cherokee Lake.
No cause has been listed for the incident. Department crews have pinpointed the back deck as a starting point, according to a preliminary report. A fire pit and hot tub were located on the second floor of the home. Two pets were unaccounted for.
Patrol Lieutenant Statworth Collins said in a published report that the middle of the home later collapsed and back walls caved-in.
