Kingsport SWAT puts an end to Rock Springs standoff
Kingsport Police called in SWAT team officers to diffuse a standoff in the 1800 block of Rock Springs Road.
A city report said 911 received a call after 3 am concerning 27-year-old Stephen Gott who officers said was threatening others with a gun.
After negotiations to surrender and obey police orders, SWAT entered the home and exited with Gott who is charged with aggravated domestic assault and aggravated assault.
