Judge gives Castlewood man two life terms for child sex crimes

Commonwealth’s Attorney Zach Stoots said he’s thankful Mickey Meade, Jr., is being taken out of the community following his sentence in Circuit Court.
The 38-year-old Castlewood resident received two life sentences plus 10 years as punishment for aggravated sexual battery, sodomy and indecent liberties.
Stoots said in his report that Meade had sexually abused the victim over a four-year period. Meade was found guilty in a jury trial in February.
