HUD announces supplemental disaster assistance for SWVA

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced Monday that supplemental disaster assistance funding is now available to Southwest Virginians who were impacted by flooding in February. The flooding happened across several Southwest Virginia counties from February 10 to 18 with States of emergency being declared. The release of federal funding comes one month after President Trump issued a Major Disaster Declaration for Virginia on April 4.
