Hard Rock Bristol breaks monthly revenue record

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol marked a new record for monthly revenue in May 2025, breaking the previous record, set in March 2025. The Virginia Lottery released the May casino activity report. Hard Rock’s total adjusted gross revenue in May was $23,026,694.50. The adjusted gross revenue is the casino’s profits after winnings are paid out. The Regional Improvement Commission fund will also be receiving a large contribution. The Regional Improvement Commission fund receives 6% of each month’s adjusted gross revenue, which in May equaled $1,381,601. Since the casino began operating in Bristol, $31.4 million has been given to the Regional Improvement Commission fund. The funds are split evenly among 12 Southwest Virginia counties and the cities of Norton and Bristol, Virginia.
