Emory & Henry University wants to boost enrollment by reducing tuition by 50 percent

To increase enrollment, Emory and Henry University leaders are reducing tuition rates for students by 50 percent beginning next fall for the 26-27 school year.
The new rate is more than $19,000 compared with the current tuition cost of almost $40,000 at the private institution. Emory president Lou Fincher said price should never hold back a student from a great education after recognizing price was a roadblock for interest in the university.
Figures from the State Council of Higher Education show Emory’s enrollment has remained steady with more than 1,300 students over the past three fall semesters.
