Reports of abuse to police lands Johnson City man in jail
A neighbor called law enforcement about children in danger of injury at the property of Marcus Stewart Wright of Johnson City. That resulted in his trip to jail and the felony charges against him.
Sullivan County deputies had to assist Washington County investigators to find Wright, 30, and after an initial review, Wright was jailed and charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse or neglect.
A judge issued Wright a $26,000 bond. According to court records, Wright was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor in 2013 but the case was dropped.
