Legends, business executives on committee for football coaching search at Virginia Tech

An 8-member committee has been selected to find the next head football coach at Virginia Tech.

A statement from Blacksburg says it will be one of the most important hires in Tech’s history and the group is composed of leaders in athletics and business.

Members include 1974 graduate and Super Bowl Champion coach Bruce Arians, Carry-On Trailer founder Brad Hobbs, former Tech Defensive Coordinator Bud Foster and 9-year All Pro WR & 2007 Tech grad Eddie Royal.

The Hokies are on a two-game winning streak after former head coach Brent Fry was fired last month.
