Gatlinburg Bypass closed TFN due to landslide

The National Park Service announced Saturday, that a landslide over the weekend has shut down a section of a roadway in Gatlinburg. The Gatlinburg Bypass, a 3.6-mile road located around the city of Gatlinburg, is closed until further notice, due to a landslide blocking the roadway. The landslide happened after heavy rain caused flooding in the area. Park officials are continuing to actively assess the situation.
