WCSO TN: Woman arrested for aggravated burglary

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 58 year old Sherry Lea Jones and charged her with Aggravated Burglary of a residence on September 9. Deputies responded to a Breaking and Entering on Moore Road shortly before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. There, they found Jones and two other individuals on the property. Jones stated that the homeowner, who was not home, was a relative. Jones told Deputies she popped open the lock on the back door with a knife to gain entry to the residence to use the bathroom and store some food, saying she was on the property to retrieve items she stored in a shed, when relatives discovered she broke into the residence.  She was transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
