Man receives 17 years after guilty plea for 2022 murder

Ronald Hale pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in a Greene County courtroom on Monday. Hale was arrested in February 2022 after police found Phillip Seay dead from multiple gunshot wounds at a Greeneville home. Hale will now serve 17 years in prison for the murder of Seay after entering a guilty plea. He had originally been charged with first-degree murder.
