Sheriff: Assault victim able to get car keys back by pointing her gun at Limestone man

The victim in an aggravated assault case was able to get her car keys taken by the suspect when she pulled her gun on the Limestone man.

A report from Sheriff Keith Sexton’s office said Eric Brian Rayon, 39, began choking the victim after she arrived on Pendelton Smith Road to help Rayon whose vehicle had run out of gas. The victim had wounds from Rayon’s attack, according to the report, and she also provided deputies with threatening voice mails Rayon had left on the victim’s phone.

Rayon is also charged with violating an order of protection and false imprisonment.
