One person dead after Friday shooting in Russell County

Investigators say one person is dead after a shooting Friday in the Castlewood area of Russell County. Russell County Sheriff Bill Watson said authorities were called out to North Mill Hollow Road Friday evening. A man was found dead after an altercation, and the suspected shooter has been located. Charges have not yet been filed. The shooting remains under investigation.
