Johnson City Police arrest kidnapping suspect

The non-custodial father of a Johnson City child was charged with aggravated kidnapping after police said he took the juvenile from a North Roan Street residence.

David Short, 25, was later found at a home in Jonesborough where he was taken into custody and the child was recovered.

The city report said Short was being held without bond.
