AIDNET receives funding from The East Tennessee Foundation for Helene recovery in Greene County

The East Tennessee Foundation, a nonprofit group dedicated to rebuilding the region after Hurricane Helene, has made a major donation to Greene County long-term recovery efforts. The volunteer recovery group in Greene County, AIDNET, received the $215,000 grant. AIDNET officials say that with the help of other volunteer organizations, the group has organized repairs and rebuilds across Greene County for more than 40 families. AIDNET and Greene County joins five other long-term recovery groups in Johnson , Unicoi , Washington , Carter and Cocke Counties to receive grant money for their recovery efforts.
